Hello All! It is Wednesday again, so time for Wind Down Wednesday (WDW).
Today has been such a crazy day for me, and the only thing that seems to be taking the stress and craziness away is thought of just absorbing fun and possibly useless information.
I am not a huge fan of television, however tonight may be a night for endless re-runs of "How I Met Your Mother" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine" if they are on when I get home. Also, I have been browsing Time Magazine's site for interesting (but not to complex) articles for today to preoccupy my brain. I found a couple that were interesting at first glance and a bit amazing.... Can we really become invisible? Read on to find out!
Invisible Cloak?

I am very much wondering how they track this...

Wind Down Wednesday... WINE!
Today I want to start a post tradition called Wind Down Wednesday... also known as WDW.
Wednesdays are the middle of the week... referred to as Hump Day because you are at the peak of the work week and beginning your descent to the weekend. Wednesdays are usually busy days and they can either provide relief in knowing the week is winding down, or panic in knowing there is a lot more left to do. Either way, Wednesdays are a good day to take a moment and wind down....
So, every Wednesday (hopefully), I would like to post a new way to wind down. Also, I am very interested in your techniques for winding down... no matter how simple or elaborate it may be!
Today we will discuss one of my particularly favorite ways to wind down.... WINE!!!!!! One or two glasses of wine settles my nerves and leaves me feeling relaxed and blissfully happy. I prefer white over red, although a nice, smooth, full-bodied red can make a for a fabulous night. My favorite kind of wine is German Riesling because it is sweet, and does not taste watered down (although this can really depend on the brand). I also love Pino Grigio and Chardonnay.... actually, let's not lie here, I will drink practically any kind of wine.
When I was in Greece over the summer I particularly enjoyed their local rose wine (picture below). Please also note the delicious Greek Salad (as it should be) and Bruscetta!
Also, I love vineyards and wine tasting and while in Germany I was able to wine taste, travel through some Alsace wine country in France, and buy some wine! I put some pictures below to show you the beautiful wine country. And yes, I tasted some grapes off the vine.... please don't tell! :-)
So do you use wine to relax?? Red or white?!?! Or do you need salt all around that rimrimrimrim like Miss Nicki? Nothing against some margs, too!
Let me know! :-)

Poland, Italy, and PIZZA! (Three of my favorite things)
Hello Everyone!
First things first...
Looks like my blog is moving international already! Thank you to friends in Italy and Poland... and all the others that have been checking this out. I hope we grow and we can all learn from each other! Make sure you comment often. Also, check out the "FOLLOW" button to the right ---> and make a quick Blogger account to follow my blog.
In other news...
Has anyone had Sam's Club pizza? For $8.87 you can have them make you a cheese pizza and then you bring it home hot. I absolutely LOVE this pizza because it is great hot or cold and not too greasy. I highly recommend it.
What is your favorite pizza? (I DEFINITELY want to hear from Italy!)
What toppings do you like- meat, veggies, a mix? Does ANYONE like anchovies? YUCK!
What is the weirdest topping mix you have ever had?
I eat pretty plain pizza, so I am not sure I have had a weird topping. I only like veggies and cheese on my pizza (boring, I know).
Hope to hear from all of you soon!
Kisses!
